Is it possible to specify an audio clip to be played while browsing music, much in the same way theme.mp3 operates as a movie theme while browsing movies?
I don't know how you'd separate it from other tracks in the folder when Kodi scrapes music in, but it would make a great feature.
While browsing pink Floyd for instance, the four tones from 'wish you were here' could play.

There is already an option in settings where you can enable to listen to a music preview of artists and albums. That way, when browsing artists and stopping a coupple seconds in Pink Floyd, for instance, you start to listen a random song from that band (one of those you have in your library, of course). In the same way, when browsing albums, a random song from that album is played. It’s really nice and the best part is that you don’t have to provide any additional file.

How about a piece of user defined video gets played in the rectangular fanart window ( shelf view) pertaining to band or album, much the same way as the user can insert a -trailer.mp4 file in a movie folder and have that play when stopping on a movie.
I wonder if adding the code from the movie shelf XML would cause this to work ( probably not🤔)

In the settings I am unable to see the option that allows me to remove the all seasons, I am used to it in confluence,, yeah I know, old school

OK worked it out, new install so I had not set my level to expert, had to install confluence to see that, not sure how you change the user setting in this skin?

The more I use the more I see, but, and this is NOT negative, just a query When browsing movies using the 'Shelf" settngs, if you wait then over a movie, the case will flip and show the reverse, but if you wait longer, a disc will pop out and roll around, but not every disc, so far to get this to work I have to select a movie and refresh the information and update from the internet and not use local info
If I do not do this, the disc doesn't appear, yet if I do a library update.
Trying to work out what the logical steps are to get this to work for all the movies? Is this possible?

There’s no discrimination against some movies, whenever the image of the disc is provided by Kodi it will show. So, first thing would be to make sure if the disc image is actually available. You should choose one of the movies that don't show the disc image and open the info screen, you should see something like this...
...as you can see at the right of the plot there must be a slideshow of images showing all the artwork available for that movie. If the image of the disc don't show, then you don't have it added to the Kodi database. It should be named discart.png if you use local files.
Other possibility, but much less likely: If you have checked and the disc image is present in your Kodi database and still it refuses to appear then, the only thing I can think of is that maybe due to your hardware or your hard drives Kodi is unable to retrieve the disc image in time to show the disc. Anyway, rest assured the skin shouldn’t be blamed for that behaviour.

Please accept my sincere apologies. I was in now way blaming the skin, I was just trying to ascertain what if anything I was doing wrong, unfortunately during the writing and editing of the post it would appear the void between my thoughts and my fingers was incorrect.
I have since dug deeper and found both disk and diskart, and am experimenting to see if i have consistency.

I like this version of Aeon Tajo. My question is, if it's possible implement this layout somehow to the previous Leila version. Especially 3D list in the movie section I don't like. Actual 2D is much better.
Problem is, that for lack of support for my HW in the new Kodi, I must stay with old Leila.

Hi,
I noticed something weird yesterday during watching an episode of a show. It was still playing and i press "back" on my remote (shield) and instead of going back to the screen of episodes of the show in question, I went back to the list of shows.
Example: i'm watching XXX S02E03 and while it's not finished, i press "back" and instead of going back to the list of the episodes of the show, i went back on the list of shows (show XXX, show YYY, etc).
I tried a couple of times and same result.

First I installed version for Kodi 18.9 Leila
Then I deleted all the files in the directory : /storage/.kodi/addons/skin.aeon.tajo
and copied all files of the actual version from the github to this directory
then in the system setup I switched layout to the AeonTajo and it looks like that this way is working and last version of AeonTajo is loaded under Kodi 18.9
Can somebody from developers confirm, that it can work in this way ? Is there any hierarchy system restriction which can block functionality under 18.9 ?

Sorry, but there have been a lot of changes in Kodi since Leia, so the recent versions of Aeon Tajo are not backwards compatible. Even if it seems to work, there’ll be a lot of errors in the log for sure. Anyway, if you can live with the drawbacks, it’s up to you. What I can confirm is that there’ll be no official backport to Leia of any current feature. Aeon Tajo versions for Leia, Matrix and Nexus are discontinued.
