You are using broken scrapers for movies and tv shows.
Change to TheMovieDB Python for Movies and TVDB v4 for TV Shows.
You may need to rescrape your tv show library. The scraper you are using for tv shows does not scrape extended artwork including clearlogo. The same with movies.

The banned addons are the orange entries near the top of the log.
Hiu,

it works better with them, but I notice that for the series I don't have the clearlogo in French and they do exist in fanart.tv.

I would need to see a Debug Log.
But I don't think this is an Artwork Dump problem. Please start a new thread with the Debug Log in Information Providers>TV Shows and I will respond there.

Hi @rmrector

The last 3 movies I have scraped, artwork Dump has failed to download the artwork.
It runs, no error messages, but no artwork is downloaded.
Here is the log which doesn't really show much... https://paste.kodi.tv/aqupowuqas.kodi
Using Kodi v21 and Artwork Dump v0.3.0
I am using your scraper metadata.tvshows.themoviedb.org.python. Export to nfo files shows all the artwork links in the nfo file.
I have also deleted processeditems.db but artwork still not downloaded.

TV shows are working fine.

Any idea?

Hard to say. It says there are no changes to artwork, could be settings or could be something saved in the library. ... Did you turn on movie versions recently maybe? I don't know how this works with movie versions.

I used to have the artwork beef and just on every libray update i click and scan for new content. I now see that this artwork dumper is the new one and i almost used it the same BUT i see that it puts all the files on the same folder as the movie show which i do not want it.
How to change it, like have it as before ?

Many thanks!

That is the primary behavior this add-on provides. If you don't want that, why do you want to use Artwork Dump?

My bad.

Thank you!

Hi All, I've recently had a 4tb HDD crash with all my SCI FI and KIDS movies on it. Over the years I have edited the artwork and saved them in each movie folder with the same filenames AD uses, which is now cached in Kodi, but lost as a local file because of the crash.
I've replaced the HDD, created identical folder names and pointed kodi to the network location.

The missing movies are all still in the Kodi library (I can see all my custom artwork in kodi, Yay!) and I've extracted the exact filename of each of the missing movies. Creating a fake .mkv file with the exact name in the folder with the same name as previous setup enables Kodi to think the movie is back.

How do i now get AD to save the cached movie artwork back onto the new hdd, as it won't currently do this, thinking it has already done it.
Overwrite existing artwork files doesn't work.
I can't rescrape the movies or refresh the artwork, as there are no local files, if I do this I will lose my cached custom artwork!

Is there anyway I can do this? I've deleted AD and re-installed it, but it still won't save the cached files locally again. I even tried deleting the movies from the "processeditems.db", but I just can't trick AD!

Please help! Smile

Do you really want the inferior cached artwork? Wouldn't you prefer the original quality?
But, if you just want to export the cached artwork, run an Export to Separate Files from the Kodi settings... https://kodi.wiki/view/Import-export_library/Video

No, your're right, I don't want the inferior resized files. I was hoping that AD would magically have the original files somewhere! Sad

Unfortunately not. AD works off the links that were scraped, or the links that were in the nfo file if you used them.

It sounds like you have gone and sourced your own artwork, so Kodi and AD would have no idea where the artwork came from.
Did you have the artwork image tags with 9999 value in your advancedsettings.xml file? If you did, you might not notice the difference between the cached and original artwork.

I haven't played with the advancedsettings.xml, so likely no.

I might export them for these missing movies and see what they look like.

Thanks for your help Smile

Bummer. Well these are it here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml#imageres
Both
<imageres>9999</imageres>
and
<fanartres>9999</fanartres>.

Consider adding them, though it will do absolutely nothing for your current library, only what you scan/scrape from that point onwards.

Hello,

A few days ago, I ran the Artwork Dump script. It worked perfectly. However, when I run it again, nothing happens. After running it the first time, I deleted a few of the artwork files and ran the script again expecting to see the files return, but I get nothing. I turned off the setting to track processed items and skip them during later scans. I deleted the script.artwork.dump. I uninstalled and reinstalled the script. Nothing seems to make any difference. Can someone please help me?

Today, I added a new movie to my library. Artwork Dump worked perfectly for this new movie, but only the new movie. Please note, I asked AD to dump artwork for the entire library not only the new library items. The list of movies and tvshows that are tracked to prevent a second dump has to be either broken or stored in some location other than the one I deleted (I've deleted it many times and uninstalled and reinstalled the add-on many times.)
