Thanks for the info.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first (usually it's enough to follow instructions in the second post).

The last few days I have got an error doing a scan with the latest Kodi and TheTVDB v4 scraper...  I am guessing with constant changes at TheTVDB lately a series I had has moved to a different id or something has changed. The issue is with 4000 entries in Kodi - I just do not know which tv show it is...

I have looked at the logfiles - and believe I am getting 404 error - so the page is not being found at the source - thetvdb database...

https://pastebin.com/u50PdmHD

What I can see is Kodi TheTVDB scraper is trying to look at series id
270578
272206
145731

I know the issue is with a series and not a movie - as I can see the URL mention this number and the word series.

If I have any hope of fixing this - I really need to know something that I can understand - like what series is it !!! The number means nothing to me - I need words...

So I went into SQL and did some poking around - I cant find a reference anyway in the database where these id's exist. I have looked at all tables, all views and for the lide of me they dont seem to exist - where are they coming from...

Which table / which field are these numbers - or do I use UUID or something else - I just need to know which series is playing up so I can remove it, and get it to reload properly...

Any suggestions ?
TIA

Pastebin is still sitting awaiting moderation checking - I can see it - but apparantly nobody else can - so I have moved it elsewhere for you to look at

So as per above - how to solve the 404 error - I cant find these ids on any series in the database using SQL directly... So what series is causing the issue !!!

You haven't enabled debug mode (which is why we ask for a debug log) so there is nothing helpful
Setting>System>Logging. Enable it, restart and run the library update.

Good day,
Using the latest Kodi & TheTVDB official, on a couple of truly fresh installs. (both Android)
So fresh, that there are no other add-ons being used, other than TheTVDB & the default movie one.

But on these fresh installs - no ratings are coming in for any of the TV episodes... yet, on our other pre-existing Kodi installs, where the episodes get added, ratings show up.
Movies, are getting ratings. (from the kodi default of TheMovieDB)

Anything I can send you to help chase something down? Or maybe you have an idea of something to check? :-)

thanks,
Andrew

Unfortunately TVDBv4 does not provide ratings. It has been requested of TVDB many times, but they won't add it.
You can try LightIMDB addon... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=316342 to add IMDB ratings after scraping.

In your previous installs, it would have been one of the skin helper addons providing the ratings. Something like plugin.video.themoviedb.helper or script.embuary.info

I know TVDB v4 is not the preferred scraper for TV shows, and I don't use it for most TV shows, however I do use it for anime because it mostly handles movies as specials so I can keep them all together, where TMDB does not. Unfortunately, it is not putting movies/special episodes into their own section for the series Saga of Tanya the Evil like it does with say, Attack on Titan.

Example:
Attack on Titan is broken up into Seasons and Specials automatically

While Saga of Tanya The Evil mixes the episodes and specials together

The only thing I can think of is maybe TVDB v4 needs more than one season to put the specials in their own section?

You will need to check TheTVDB listing and see how Specials are handled.
Maybe this post will explain how sorting Specials works... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2706581

Karellen,

Thanks, looks like that is the issue. Even though, for example, this mini episode 10 is tagged as not critical to the story, it is tagged with a special position in season 1. When I quickly scanned the Attack on Titan specials and movies, none were tagged with a special position. So that must be what forces it into the season 1 section even though it is not critical.
