thanks, I use this one already. What bothers me though is that it only deletes dump files when starting Kodi. It would be much more useful if it could delete it when exiting, or if there would be the possibility to completely disable them.
This way the dump files take space completely until I restart Kodi OR I delete them manually after exit. And as I am not using Kodi all the time it bothers me that space for these making it impossible to update / install apps.
The other way would be sufficient if I could install Kodi to an USB for example but I suppose it is not possible through dev manager without rooting the device.

Good morning, Please help Kodi v21 displays only 1080 image, 4K files scale to 1080 degrading the details .
The new Kodi 20250108 and previous versions from 2025 display 4K well without 1:1 scaling, super O.K.
But after starting the movie with the remote control, you cannot navigate to the displayed menu. The image shakes, checkboxes jump. the file being played cannot be closed. Can't hit KODI exit button and other checkboxes. I have a TV

Good morning, unfortunately the KODI version org.xbmc.kodi_20250110-8a0d510b-master_arm.ipk. The menu does not work after starting 4K videos. and the displayed movie subtitles tremble, - As in the previous lines, 2025. My TV has an alpha 8 processor. 120Hz. It's getting better, but not everything.

Guys, I recently updated my OLED65G29LA to newest WebOS (23.20.56) and after that Kodi did only shortly show Logo when starting then crashing back to Home-Screen of LG. Now I rooted TV (as it was not rooted before) and still have the problem with crashing Kodi on startup. Any hint how to solve?

I think the workaround was disabling/enabling developer mode or doing a factory reset.
Either way you need to reinstall Kodi.

Tried to reinstall several times. What do you mean with disabling/enabling developer mode? After rooting the TV it was instructed to uninstall dev mode on TV. I did that.

Ok, thanks. You hint directed to the right way: after unstalling dev mode app on TV and reinstalling it, re-installation of Kodi (again) - all is working now.
