Anyone knows if you can install one of the lastest SVN DX and.or GL on a computer, and go back to 22516 ?
because the only "real" test i would like to do is on my HTPC with my full database of movies, but i won't test it if i can't go back to 22516 in case of major issue (i mean, go back without rebuilding all database).

Easiest and safest way would be to backup both your XBMC install folder and the USERDATA folder. Then install the new one and if it doesn't work for you simply delete both folders and go back to your backups.

Yea definitely back it up.
Libraries between 22516 and the latest SVN's are not the same and you will end up building your library from scratch if you decide to upgrade and go back.

Thanks kricker. Been waiting to try a newer build since Friday, there's been a lot of worthwhile/interesting updates since the last.

Updating to latest -dx (both archived or setup) gave me a black screen (the navigation seems to work, i hear the sounds when pressing buttons on my remote). There is some files i should remove? (maybe some of them mess up with the new files)
This is happening on both displays (tv/monitor)
