who said you should extract the zlib file?
also, do you have all the correct python libraries (image libs?).
you may want to show us the contents of your python/lib dir.
also the exact error you are getting.

when i launch kmlbrowse.py i see (running) for a couple of seconds and nothing else.
i have the 01-05 build and the web radio 2 working script.
has anyone seen this ?

when i try to open any streaming media i get the message displayed in the bottom bar "you are probably an old version of xmbc kmlbrowser upgrade asap"
have been looking around but so far nothing helpfull found.
installed xmbc 15-01-2005.
anyone has a helpfull hint?? (and not a hint like do a search.. tried that already... :o)

im getting "downloading kml document..." then an error saying it could get the xml file and it restarts. any help?

should work if you change
url = "[url]http://194.192.15.21/webradio2/kml/index.php?reload=true"[/url]
to
url = "[url]http://webradio.kiss-technology.com/webradio2/kml/index.php?reload=true"[/url]
in kmlbrowse.py

has anybody adapted this to wok with skins, i tried to remove the path so it goees to skin directory by default and it just errors out on me.

addendum: i had to edit both the kmlbrowse.py and simplekml.py files to get it working again.

does anyone know how to fix the problem with the truncated station names?
i'm sure it is a minor problem, but i can't figure it out myself.
any help appreciated.
