@Igorth not familiar with that error, but there is a dedicated thread to trakt utilities that I'm sure would have some clues about it.

@Machine-Sanctum since you are already using trakt utilities, I would just use their built in scrobbling support instead of the standalone trakt addon. Should take care of your issue.

So completely disable it or just the auto submit?

The official plugin is not needed if you use trakt utilities for scrobbling.

I simply cannot get this to work. I have installed it and activated it on Dharma. The trakt icon pops up and says that it is ready to send information. However, after having watched a tv-episode or movie nothing happens and my trakt profile will not get updated.

Are you watching in library mode? We'd need to see the debug log to see what response its getting from the API.

Is it at all possible for trakt to submit both parts when episodes are joined...

eg.

Filename -> Adventure Time with Finn and Jake - 1x01-02 - Slumber Party Panic & Trouble in Lumpy Space.mkv

Shows up in XBMC as both episodes but currently only the episode I select from XBMC scrobbles.

You simply just add an option to only track streaming for certain by adding a whitelist or blacklist in the add-on options. This would bypass your previous concerns with trailers and such.

Ok, I have checked the logs now. I turns out that trakt keeps updating how many % that is watched. However, this always stays at 1%. I belive the reason is that I am using an external player (mpc-hc).

Is there some way I can get trakt to consider 1% completed as watched instead of 75% or 85%?

Well, I was been able to get the trakt plugin to work, the problem was that it doesn't auto-enable on start, I have to activate it every time I boot XBMC.

It doesn't bother so much but I hope it will be fixed sometime.

Hmm.. I just realized I have marked a lot of shows as watched manually inside XBMC (yes I am using library mode). Should trakt not pick up on this?

@dairylee not currently no, i'll add it to the list to look into. Maybe it can use the duration + filename somehow. The problem is the video player is just reporting its one episode being watched.

@BillGates good points for us to look into, I would also love for streams to be picked up and scrobbled

@mandelmosen it needs to use those thresholds because if things scrobbled at 1%, everything would scrobble even if you just played it for a minute to check it out and didn't actually watch it at all. It would also never show as watching on the site and would run into API limits as well likely. The default plugin doesn't mark shows like that, you'd have to use the PHP import script. A better alternative is you're using Eden is to use trakt utilities which does a great job of keeping everything in sync.

@Igorth Hmm that is weird, maybe its a file permissions issue where it can't save the autostart file?

Request: I've just found out that your can add some folders that are NOT added to trakt.tv.

Can't you just remove the 3 only limit in the add-on? I want to add all my girlfriends series there, but I DON'T want to add them into one special folder on the hard drive..

I second this question. It's actually why I just checked out the thread. Can I manually edit a config file to have it ignore more than 3 locations? I would like to run in auto mode but filter the stuff the wife and kids watch. Three isn't enough for me either.
