Yeah, something not right! I'll do a comparison between Welo and Confluence/Revisited, and correct.
Cheers for pointing it out.

Hitcher Wrote:@ krish_2k4Or change the video calibration so XBMC appears to be at a 16:9 ration. That is what I did with my laptop that runs at a high 4:3 aspect ration. Now everything looks fine. You'll have black bars at the top and bottom, but I rather have that then stretched imagery and video.
You're images aren't stretched/scaled in Confluence because that is displaying them with aspect ratio "keep" so they can be shown as they are. In Welo, and many other skins, we like to display them at set dimensions so we can add fancy overlay textures to them as well - this cannot be done when displayed in their original aspect ratio - and we code for 16:9.
I suggest you change your set up to 1280x720.

how do i change it to 16:9 or 1280x720 in xbmc?
liquidskin76 Wrote:I thought he meant a large poster view, not large list.
krish_2k4 Wrote:but in alaska revisited it displays perfectly. i'll change to 1280x720Only for views that allow the image to be displayed 'as it is' (ie when it's on it's own), switch to any other and you'll see the dimensions set in stone.
thanks, i'll try that.
sialivi Wrote:I did. This is the one I was refering to but it wasn't quite how I remembered it, I thought all the posters were large, not just the one in focus.I've never shown that in a video.
But to be honest, I would rather have a Large Poster view that looks just like the current Poster view but with posters the same size as the Large List (that's what I meant with a cross between the two, sorry for being unclear).
krish_2k4 Wrote:@liquidskin76 I sorted the video calibration to change to aspect ratio to 1280x720 and the movie posters and album posters are all in the right size. sucks to have black borders now but i'll have to get used to it!
