[Release] MLBMC - a Major League Baseball (video) add-on
Hi again ...

little question beside the "cleanup" issue sdsnyr94 mentioned : when activating download inning starttimes.. is there no way to jump into the real "live position" anymore ? or am i to blind? ^^

Hmm... I think* I know what's going on. It may be another day or so before I can post a new version.

I suppose only by disabling inning start-times and start games from the beginning. Seems it may be a good idea to add a live option to the innings list.
Take your time :exclamation: ... And pfew.
So i am not to braindead ... Would be awrsome to have a "watch live" option then :P
Thanks for this great add-on Divingmule! I dont know if this would even possible or if it would be a skin request vs. add-on request, but any thoughts on some kind of onscreen box score from the current game or another game? Maybe an RSS feed or widget? Thanks again for this awesome add-on!

@sdsnyr94, dh3lix - Can you guys test this player script, replace the mlbtv_player.py in the add-on's resources dir with this one -> http://ubuntuone.com/5tE93UvST7UUOKY49YD3q1

@shess757 - It could be done via a dialog script. I don't have the desire/time to do it myself, it would be quite a bit of work. That said, if someone were to write the script I wouldn't have any problem including it in the add-on if they wanted.
@divingmule ... tested some minutes ago ... no error message on stopping playback anymore but the mlbhls process itself is still running after playback stopped.
Okay... new player script -> http://ubuntuone.com/3dE7QBMxTD4wyE2Di2L2FV

Aaaand tested... funny thing: after stopping playback errorbox raises stating that mlbhls subprocess cannot be stopped .. but .. mlbhls process is killed fine . no leftover.

do you want debug logs on this?
Yeah if you would, copy your log to http://pastebin.com and post the link.

I figured it would be a lot of work. Just thought I'd throw the idea out there. Thanks again for all you do on the add-on.

I cool thing for us fantasy baseball fanatics would be messages that pop-up on the screen telling us our fantasy baseball player is at-bat, etc...the mlb website has this feature but would probably require a lot of coding...

Okay.. think I figured out the source of my confusion. Seems on openelec, running 'ps -A | grep mlbhls' will return the shell and grep processes. Hopefully this will fix things -> http://ubuntuone.com/3vW8sprLkX9oKwkAaHMY9l

If you or sdsnyr94 could test and pastebin a log.

Thanks for helping!
Hi Guys,

I am looking for a lounge room substitute for the Panasonic TV app which is rubbish. I have Ethernet connection (114Mps) in the lounge. The Panasonic App was stuttering and buffering way to much. Complaints on the MLB.tv forums resulted in nothing apart from them trying to blame my connection. So I lugged my desktop PC out there and lo and behold I was watching quad view streams perfectly.

I can't really afford building a HTPC or buying another media player so I am looking at a Raspberry Pi option. The ONLY thing it will be used for is MLB.tv streaming. I have the WDTV to stream video/music off my PC/portable drives. I just want to keep it simple for now.

I am wondering on the functionality of this XBMC add on - does it replicate what is available in the flash player on the PC? i.e. Pic in Pic modes, quad view ect? Or is it more like the apps for media devices? Achieved games are OK to access? Are there any screen shots of menus ect at all?

I notice a few different issues people are having, if I only had the Raspberry Pi set up using default Raspbmc, XBMC + MLBMC should I experience many problems? I'm not looking to do anything else to the Raspberry Pi.

Thanks,
Mark.
Doesn't your WDTV have a MLB app?
