I hope you are able to solve this challenge as I am not.

I am not a techie as such so forgive me if this issue seems fairly simple.

I cannot get my JB apple tv 2 to see the contents of my shared folder on my laptop running ubuntu 10.10.

I have setup the shared folder using SAMBA and the folders and files are visible in my workgroup of my other laptop running Vista.

However, on my ATV2 I can only see the shared folder and not the files. The files are normal .mpg files, which is a format XBMC can handle. I am running the XBMC version which NITO tv installs, so i guess it is the most recent one?

Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?
