Hi all,
Summary: Need latest all-in-one drivers for ION chipset.
Need to know if jumbo frames work on Asrock 330HT
Could do with some help please. Currently running latest XBMC Live on an Asrock 330HT with WHS as my file server. Being having streaming issues lately, with large MKVs (full BD rips) buffering but also smaller MKVs (Tv shows) sufferring from occasional slow motion problems.
I did some testing on my Gigabit network and found the read speeds from WHS were about 30MB/s and write speeds were 55MB/s. This was done from PC to PC, not using XBMC. I found that enabling jumbo frames 9014 MTU saw an improvement on read speeds giving me 60MB/s. I then went to enable Jumbo frames in XBMC but when upping to 9000/9014 MTU the performance drops radically to be unusable. Does the ION ethernet support jumbo frames?
Does anyone know where or what the latest drivers are for it. Nvidia not showing any up on their support site.
Contemplating full clean install tonight.
