Good day to you
i got my new Giada A50 today and i want to install ubuntu 11.04 on it and than install XBMC.
Is there something i need to do before installing ?
do i will have problem playing 1080P mkv files?
Is there special instructions for special drivers i need?
i am asking because i want to prepare all the stuff and i don't want to find out i did something wrong


the Giada A50 :

AMD® E-350
AMD® Hudson M1
ATI® Radeon HD 6310 graphics

You will not be able to view 1080p content without severe stuttering due to HW acceleration not working with ATI GPU's and Linux, other than that everything works well for me. You could try the latest OpenElec build as I believe 1080p playback is fixed in that.
