Video option has dissappeared from my XBMC home page when I initially installed XBMC I had video option.

Something is diffiently wronge.

Edit: I am able to see the weather.

Maybe you have disabled them in the skin settings?

yes I think you are correct, because the background (or theme skin) has changed from initially a image of a wall mounted TV to a big cog. not exactly sure of how it changed.

here's what I have attemped.
system
skin single image defualt not sure on how to save the settings.

please explain the reverting back to default skin or the wall mounted TV skin step by step.

that depends on what skin. Usually you can find it under skin setting - main menu. There you switch on/off the different menus. Maybe there is an option set to default

resolved I had video hidden in the skin setting.

now if I could figure out why XBMC is sometimes none responsive when I exit.

half the time I'm reduced to the 3 fingered slaute, to exit XBMC
