Hello everyone!
I know there is a lot of treads with different problems and solution for almost anything, BUT. I have a reason to believe that there is something in the xbmc build 10.1 stable which doesn't work as it should do.
PROVE!
I have checked, rechecked and done it all over again. I have made sure, that my system has what it needs before installing:
1) Installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my HDD (FRESH)
2) Installed the latest NVIDIA Driver (280.13)
3) Installed all recent Ubuntu-updates through 'UPDATE MANAGER@
4) Installed LIRC and configured it to work with me remote.
5) Installed XBMC standalone from XBMC WIKI
6) Made shure VDPAU was activated.
7) Testet my setup with 1080p content, pressed 'O' during video playback and it uses ff-h264 instead of vdpau?
I'm lost now, have laggy 1080p playback and almost no hair left on my head due to frustration !
Hope someone can help me out, any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance!
