i believe the issue im having is with airplay / screen saver / album art.

when i leave xbmc on the menu for a while it crashes constantly, i think its the ATV trying to load a screensaver (which ive disabled) or the album art of playing air play music.

any fixes to this?

XBMC PRE 11.0 compiled June 23 2011

used the apt-get command for install

im not sure how to get the xbmc version, could you help me find out. but it was installed 2 days ago

You could try disabling your add ons, one of them may be the culprit

You mean you are playing music via airplay while xbmc is running? If I read that correctly then that is what your problem could be. The fix is - exit xbmc, then airplay music.
