XBMC crashes whenever I try to stop a video or quit XBMC

debug output link
gdb output link
Linux (Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS, 2.6.32-33-generic x86_64
XBMC 10.1 (Compiled Mar. 9 2011)
Installed via PPA

XBMC crashes every time I stop video playback and often when I attempt to exit the application through the GUI. I use the web interface most of the time but even if I use a connected keyboard the problem persists. The process becomes defunct and the screen just displays a garbled image. Playback is flawless and if I remember to switch videos before it completes, the problem can be averted... obviously this is somewhat annoying though.

edit: updated with level 2 debug log after attempted video play

Did you actually play a video in that debug log? I'm used to looking at pseudoTV logs, so it could be different.

Also, make sure it's the full debug log.
Nothing to see here....

What video card are you using? I read somewhere that ATI video cards do that... there are old posts about it.. but never seen a solution.......
