According to one of the XBMC developers, the VIA GPU or media decoder drivers are not very good.

I did see a review of a VIA mitx mobo where they were playing 1080p videos perfectly using MPC-HC with low CPU useage but XP was installed and it was all in foreign so I don't know the conclusion of the review.

Also it's on Amazon.co.uk for £145 so I don't think the €95 price point is accurate.
