I'm a happy XBMClive user, but the other day a question crossed my mind.
XBMCLive is based on Ubuntu, which has a twice-a-year release cicle, but it seems that XBMCLive does not follows that pattern. At least, my XBMCLive reports to be an Ubuntu 10.04:
"xbmc@sion:~$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS \n \l"
My question: Is it necessary to run a dist-upgrade from time to time in order to be up to date?
Thanks!
