Is there any difference between xbmc live and geexbox 2.0
or is it pretty much the same thing?

geexbox 2.0 is more like OpenELEC (the state from OpenELEC 1.5 - 2 years ago, minus the things which makes OpenELEC much easyer to use compared with other solutions)
