Hi everyone,

I have installed the current stable XBMC live version to the HDD of my HTPC and all if going well. The only problem I am having is that lirc needs to be configured each time I reboot.
After the boot, I log in via ssh and run the "dpkg-reconfigure lirc" command and the remote works. But then after a reboot I have to do this again.
To make things even stranger, when I run the reconfigure it does remember the selection from last time.

If it matters: It's an MCE remote.

If anyone has an idea how I can make this work permanently I would be very grateful.

Are you editing lirc to get your receiver working in XBMC??

I'm running the command: "dpkg-reconfigure lirc" to get the remote working in xbmc.
