Okay, so I have installed the latest nightly build of XBMC and am very impressed. But currently, if I want to play music, I have to browse to a folder. Is there any way to have XBMC import or use the music library of the native music player of iPad (i.e. iTunes)?

View your music source in the sources list, pull up the context menu and select 'scan to library'.

I forget where at the moment, but you can select the folder that actually contains all the music in the iPad's native music player and just have XBMC scan all those music files in. It won't be able to import your actual music library (playlists, etc), but it can playback the songs.
