hey all,
basically after i've hibernated or set pc to standby, when it wakes again back to xbmc, xbmc re-scans the library. Any way to stop this?

I'd guess this related to the "update library on startup" setting, and that XBMC is interpreting the wake from sleep as a startup. If you disable the "update library on startup" setting does it still happen?

Hi,
Just tried turning 'auto-update library' off, went into standby, resumed, and the scan didn't happen.
Sorry I took so long replying.

This behaviour isn't ideal- is there anything I can do about it?

There is an add-on that does a library scan based on time.
