I read some places that xbmc can handle these high end audio formats but i cant find out specific to the apple tv 2 if this is possible? I mean its just outputting over HDMI the receiver is doing the work so figured it could.
I apologize if i missed a thread but if anyone can tell me if its possible and how would be great.

I cant say thank you enough for all your guys hard work on XBMC for the ATV2. I use it daily.
