Glad to see you were able to get past this. The issue isn't, strictly speaking, because of your language configuration. But you may have an artist with a non-ascii character that is causing the issue (or your username has one). I have been pecking away at the unicode challenges in AS for the last year, and I thought I had got them all. Apparently not.
P.S. None of the logs you posted are debug logs. Thankfully there was enough information in the regular log to help you. See the link in my sig on how to post a full debug log.
