for xbmc13 there where two xml files (musicosd.xml and another one) available to support confluence skin. are these files also abailable for kodi14/confluence?

Not any longer. It became too much of a hassle to support folks who modified the Confluence skin. There are a few options for Helix users:

1. Check to see if one of the popular Confluence mods supports AS (best to check the Confluence forum section for that).
   
2. Download my skin repo and get a modified version of Confluence that supports AS (and some other things). You can get the repo from https://github.com/pkscout/repository.sk...-1.1.0.zip
   
3. Download a copy of my modified version of Confluence and move those two files over (MusicOSD.xml and MusicVisualization.xml). You can get that at https://github.com/pkscout/skin.confluen...master.zip
