Attached is what I believe to be somewhat relevant debugging info comparing macklemore and ryan lewis to m83, although it may be a deeper issue (if the slideshow attempts two lookups for instance)
I'm running latest openelec on kodi
According to MusicBrainz, the name of the group is "Macklemore & Ryan Lewis", not "Macklemore and Ryan Lewis." The MusicBrainz search results are very sloppy, so in order to make sure AS doesn't grab the wrong artist, the artist name in Kodi must match exactly the name in MusicBrainz. AS also looks at an artist's aliases in MusicBrainz, so I submitted an edit request to add the alias "Macklemore and Ryan Lewis" to the artist. I have no idea if it'll be accepted or how long it will take. So either you need to rename the artist to match what's in MusicBrainz or you need to find the mbid.nfo file for the artist and manually but the MBID in there.
