i've got a mute icon stuck in my top right-hand corner of xmbc. my sound is fine, and i've tried changing from analog to digital audio and back, but the icon stays.

i'm running xbmc cvs 2005-07-01
mplayer version: mplayer dev-cvs-050614
project mayhem iii skin (which rocks by the way)

any help is greatly appreciated.

i've heard reports of this but don't know how to reproduce it.

does it not go away when you increase the volume using the right thumb stick?

actually, adjusting the volume never made it go away, but after running a script, it is gone! so if anyone else sees this...try running one of the scripts.

also, pulling the volume down to -60db and then back up to the top clears it.
