Win Xbox 360 Wireless Controller not Re-Detected after Auto Power Off
#1
Hi all,

I'm facing the following issue:

I'm running the latest stable release on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.

XBMC (11.0 Git:20120321-14feb09), Platform: Windows 7, 64-bit (WoW) Service Pack 1 build 7601. Built on Mar 21 2012

I managed to adapt the keymap to get my Xbox 360 Wireless Controller recognized.
It is working fine but after a certain amount of time, it sometimes becomes unresponsive.
i.e. after a few minutes, the controller will shut itself off (normal behavior) and when I switch it back on, it never gets re-detected by XBMC.
The issue is not with the controller itself, if a launch a game at that point the controller is perfectly working.

the only workaround is to restart XBMC, and the controller is working as intended again.

I can not reproduce this behavior 100% of the time, but it happens to me at least once a day.

Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks Blush

The same actually also happens almost every time if I start XBMC before powering on my controller.
This known issue was supposedly fixed long time ago...
