I also see that the NVIDIA X Server app is saying it supports 60hz.

Also when I installed the Addtional drivers for the GT430 I selected the version current (recommended) not the post-release updates (version current updates).

Should I try the other driver?

Sorry to keep posting but here is more info....

I noticed under Display on Ubuntu it says my screen is a Laptop....

I am starting to think Ubuntu is not correctly reading what outputs are possible.

Maybe I don't understand but how will that help me if the unit doesn't think my monitor can handle 60Hz/24hz?
