Hello all!

I haven RC6 MCE usb IR reciver ecxatly this one:

I am using it with an Harmony 200. Once it has worked as it schould in xbmcbuntu it was i think.
Now i am using Ubuntu 12.04.1. Without upgrading the Kernel to at least 3.4.0 + installing Lirc
it doesent work. After doing this it feels really good at all.

Installed is:

xbmc 11.0-pvr+yavdr3-pipelka-eden-git20120415.f57e18b-yavdr0~precise
xbmc-bin 11.0-pvr+yavdr3-pipelka-eden-git20120415.f57e18b-yavdr0~precise

liblircclient0 0.9.0-0ubuntu1
lirc 0.9.0-0ubuntu1

The Command is there by pressing the button:
root@Streamefiez:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# irw

The Question is, where are those Commands mapped to functions?
Maybe i decide to change other things in future....

I do not have a ~/.xbmc/userdata/Lircmap.xml or a ~/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/Keymap.xml / Keyboard.xml
But the other functions like red,stop,play and so on are working as they schould. The Menubutton acts a little strange but ok.........
So that means they are allready mapped "somewhere".
Please Help me out!

After Hours of try and error i finaly noted that it mapped by xbmc somehow.
I uninstalled:
xbmc 11.0-pvr+yavdr3-pipelka-eden-git20120415.f57e18b-yavdr0~precise
xbmc-bin 11.0-pvr+yavdr3-pipelka-eden-git20120415.f57e18b-yavdr0~precise

and installed:
xbmc 2:11.0-pvr+pulse8~git20120911.db0474f-0ubuntu1~build99~precise XBMC Media Center (arch-independent data package)
xbmc-bin 2:11.0-pvr+pulse8~git20120911.db0474f-0ubuntu1~build99~precise XBMC Media Center (binary data package)

now channel up works as it schould.
But the Guide Button dosent open the epg lol ^^

No one knows where these mappings are configured?

Ok guys i got it!
The wiki is verry confusing in this case!
It told me to place Lircmap in in $HOME/.xbmc/userdata
This dosent affect the results!

I have to edit this file:
/usr/share/xbmc/system/keymaps/remote.xml

To know "who is who" i used irw outputs + this file:
/usr/share/xbmc/system/Lircmap.xml
