I had a bit more of an in depth get of the confluence skin and it played all the tested hd movies I tried, when I tried the same think in sio2 it crashed - I haven't yet tried cleaning cache - to tell you the truth not to sure why you men but I will have browse through the forum - oh and yes I am using atv2
In my testing I did uncover another two more things ( sorry for continually pestering you and like I said previously I don't expect you to fix these issues up I just want to let you know my experiences with your skin) - 1st my watchlist is not working when I go into it the cursor seems to be stuck on "started movies" not sure if I am doing something wrong or if I have something not on figured correctly and 2nd this doesn't happen all the time I have only come across it twice so I am not sure if it is skin related or just an xbmc bug - but what happens is if I leave the xbmc alone and the careen dims when I come back and start browsing the screen stays dimmed - the only way to fix it is to press play the stop and it will remove the dimming - hope that makes.
ok
for the undimming, I believe it's XBMC related.
for Watchlist try press down and then move right/left
for playback, the only thing that I can think of is that any other skin works in a 720p space while SiO2 works in a 1080i space...
no clue if that could be the problem, maybe some higher level XBMC dev could throw us a hand...
Also for me it's hard to test this, since on my ATV2 everything seems to play correctly... and not being able to replicate the error makes it really hard to solve...
I will keep trying though.
to clean the cache simply go (in sio2 only) to settings > maintenance tools> Delete cache (or Empty cache forgot what I called the button )
