Hi,
My TV do only allow Dolby Digital Passthough (LG 60PK550), so what will happen if the mediafile is DTS?

if you deselect "DTS capable receiver" in XBMCs audio settings your DTS track will be decoded and reencoded into AC3 or into stereo (depends if you select "AC3 capablce receiver"). Also depends on the used operating system (on some only stereo downmix is available - no ac3 reencode).
