I've found that XBMC constantly is 1/8th of a second too slow on the video and so I have to offset the audio. This is easily done via the audio offset control in the video controls. But, I have to set these for each video. How do I permanently change the audio offset?

When you've adjusted it scroll down and 'Set as default for all movies'.
