My first HTPC build ( need help ) - Must be 3D compatible
#1
Hey. I will create a 3d compatible HTPC. Had thought the following configuration:
ASRock A75M-HVS, socket FM1 mATX - with HDMI v 1.4a
AMD A-Series A8 X4 3850 - so it can handle 3D without an external graphics card.

The problem is that this configuration is not recommended in a HTPC due A8 processor (100W).

Which alternative solution can be used for 3d compatible HTPC? Do not want any expensive solution.

A setup like one of mine should do the trick, they do f-sbs 3D 12MBs without any issues Smile
You can take a look at my HTPCs here;price tag of just over 350$, low power and quiet.

For about the same price, why not the latest 65W Trinity "AMD A8-Series AD5500OKHJBOX Quad-Core A8-5500 APU and MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Socket FM2".....you should be able to playback everything in your list....

>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!
