Hi,

since I installed Alpha 7, I cannot access the XBMC webserver anymore, and also my Android XBMC remote app does not work anymore. Has anybody tested if this is a general bug, or what am I doing wrong? It worked with Eden.

you maybe mean the http api, which was long deprecated and has been removed.
The official android remote uses this old api, thats why it doesn't work anymore. There are other android remotes which work with the new JSON api, like yatse.

The webserver should still work, if it is enabled.
