Win x264 video issue
#1
Hello,

I've just installed Windows 8 with Frodo and I met an issue only with mp4 files.
Videos are really jerky (do we say that ?!) during playback, it works fine with MPC-HC...

Do you have any idea how to fix that ?

Thanks in advance,

Katak.

Enable DXVA2 in settings>Videos>Playback. Also make sure your sound settings are correct (just try other settings if you're not sure), as that will also cause jerky playback.

Hi,

DXVA2 is not compatible with my Optiplex from DELL.
Anyway it works fine on VLC or mpc-hc...

I'll try the sound tweak!

Thx

I'm not sure how you connected your PC to HDTV, but you can switch the Audio output device between "WASAPI" and "DirectSound" in XBMC system/settings/system/audio output.....

>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Hello,

Still doesn't work... may we choose to launch mpc-hc from XBMC iso internal player ?

Thx in advance.
