stop process

is there way to stop a process from happening before opening xbmc. something has happened to mine and i keep getting a grooveshark dialog box coming up, i cancel it but it just keeps appearing everytime, i dont have a chance to go into any settings before it crashes. please help Sad

Uninstall Grooveshark? Anyway I thought it was only a website...

i cant uninstall anything as xbmc stops responding if i press to many buttons?

Go to your userdata (wiki) folder for your OS and then go back one folder (basically, look at the folder that holds the XBMC userdata folder). It will have a folder called "addons" where all the add-ons are actually installed. Inside there you should be able to delete the folder for the Grooveshark add-on.

thanks pal, i managed to sort it last night. god knows how i sorted it though, sometimes i dont know half the things i do to get things working in XBMC Smile
ive now made a complete backup of xbmc, so if anything happens it should just be a case in moving the folder back in, and deleting the "corrupt" one. Am i right in thinking this would technically work?
