Thank you for that, it's what i needed - will try it out asap , i didn't know what's wrong and why for example blue (dark or light ) is always in one color.

update: i tried this but the light went off

Strange. Lights went off, as in boblightd crashed, or the lights just didn't go? Try playing with the threshold value, set it at 0 and give that a go. It shouldn't have been a problem on 10, but see if putting it on 0 has any impact. Those settings are working perfectly for me. I've since lowered the value quite a lot to bring down the brightness a bit, but that's all.

But it's only with the custom settings slow or fast works
