good morning
i backup the video db as a single file under v12 for windows of xbmc
that wrote the 69MB xml file no problem
i changed the db to a my sql bo problems starts up all fine and accepts the sql connection
anyway i then go to restore from the xml file
select restore, browse to the location and it cannot find it.
(in explorer it is there) but xbmc does not show it any idea

XBMC is a bit weird in that it won't show an actual xml file, but all you need to do is select and open the folder it outputted and then press "okay".

yep thats what i have done already, picked my "desktop" where i saved the file but did not restore a thing, any other ideas.

well as a additon i tried something else
i exported my music collection and video
switched to sql
and imported my music , went to location and could see the xml file (both music and video) file
it imported the music file
went to import the video one and could not be seen(both in same location)(diffrent names of course)

There should be a folder on your desktop that you need to open first.
