and should be fine for earlier releases.
Krypton no longer supports requesting a player from an add-on (it has been deprecated for years).
Requesting MPLAYER as the required video player is clearly wrong.

thanks for this fix! addon works again! woohoo!

Are you all in the UK? Using VPN?
All streams ITV through 4 and Citv & ITVbe live work fine.
Catchup content works as well.

Just tried "A touch of Frost" first episode on the list (catchup), no issue.
Don't know what to tell you. Sorry.

Been using current ITV Player plugin.video.itv-2.3.0 with Milhouse Openelec and now LibreElec Krypton test-builds on RPi 2.
ITV Catchup is working absloutely fine, but Live TV options do not work with latest Krypton Testbuild(s) for OpenElec and LibreElec

With ref to LibreELEC #0416 Testbuild for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)

For maintainer of ITV Player or anyone eles that could advsie on cause and possible fix, here is Kodi debug log with Verbose logging for video component enabled, whilst using #0416 LibreElec Testbuild on RPi2.

Notes:
  • Tested Live TV playback on two RPi2 one with a clean Jarvis install of Openelec where Live TV worked fine before switching directly to Libreelec Krypton testbuild where Live TV stopped working and other RPi2 orginally stepping through OpenElec Krypton Testbuilds, now switched to Libreelec testbuild where Live TV element has not been working for a number of weeks.
  • Tested Live TV playback on RPi1 B LibreElec 6.90.005 (Jarvis 16.1-RC2) and Live TV is working fine.

Any help in resloving ITV Player Live TV playback issue with these Krypton builds is appreciated.

It could be the hard-coded URLs that are configured for inputstream.mpd in my build. You could try removing all the URLs configured for the inpustream.mpd addon (Addons > Settings > My add-ons > VideoPlyaer InputStream > InputStream MPEG DASH > Configure > URL support). You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.

In the next build I'll remove the custom URLs as they shouldn't be needed now.
