Ok, so aside from my regular builds, I wanted to see if I can enable my brothers ipod touch 4th generation to display out to the TV. I understand mirroring wont work because the 4th generation doesnt come with the A5 processor, so my question is, how can I tv out on the ipod touch? Cable? Wireless? What are my options? He loves the idea of xbmc but doesnt want to build a pc or purchase an apple tv so I thought since ive installed xbmc on his ipod, maybe we can display it out to the tv directly from it.

Cable. Get one of the dock HDMI adapters/cables and follow this: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=IOS...ice_output

It will be 720, but should be just as good as an ATV2 (same guts and abilities, more or less).
