Hi there,
I recently upgraded from 11Eden to 12Frodo and - at the same time from Xubuntu 12.04 to Xubuntu 12.10. I have a NVIDIA ION graphiccard. The upgrade causes the following errors:
* Using Free nouveau driver: XBMC randomely really crashes so that the PC is completely killed. (Not my favourite driver anyway)
* Using any of the proprietary drivers from NVIDIA:
--> If I choose native Resolution of my screen (2560x1440) everything's fine BUT videos stutter hard
--> If I choose smaller Resolution (e.g. 1920x1200) First, XBMC and videos played with it is not filling the whole screen anymore - no upscaling. Still one pixel of image for one pixel of screen. Second, I dont have all the resolutions to choose from, that I have, when I use nouveau driver. E.g. 1920x1080 is missing. Actually, there's no single 16:9 ratio resolution available.
Can anyone help me?
