If all that means is I have to fill out all the same information I used to send in an email in a web form instead, then that isn't a solution. It's just a different technology to do the exact same thing. For me, it isn't the email part that I dislike, it's the process.
That said, I think the XBMC devs have made some really good arguments for the current process, so I'm willing to stick with it and see what kind of tweaks can be made.
