WIP [MOD] AEON NOX (all Versions) Colored Movie and TV-Show Icons and Mediaflags
im having the exact same problem, not all icons are included in the nice color mode. I assume something went wrong in the last built of your zipfile. (i scanned the zip contents, nada)

Looks great though, hope i can find the correct icons soon!

I just started checking out xbmc and this mod incorporates important features I did not want to miss out on (especially the language flags).

I have come to the point where it works perfectly for my displayed movies, but no matter which view I choose for tv shows, I get absolutely no language flags there Sad

I'm quite positive I didn't miss anything in this thread concerning this matter, as from what I've seen only movie displays were discussed, although the title states "movie AND TV-SHOW [...]".

Anyhow, what I've been able to find out so far is that there seems to be support for the language flags for tv-shows at least in the "InfoWall" and "Landscape" displays, as there is an option to enable/disable language flags in their respective "view settings" sub menu. But for me, toggling this option only adds a space after the "audio codec/channel" icon (in Landscape), or add a space between the rating and the aspect ratio icon (in InfoWall).

As I lack the knowledge to dig right into the xml structure and check why movie display works fine, yet tv-show display misses the language flags, I'd like to ask if anyone on here has a clue what might have gone wrong here.

Thanks in advance for any input on this!

I think the language flag issue with TV-Shows is a skin issue and has nothing to do with the mod.
Please put this question in the Nox main thread.

I attempted this download:

Quote:new update file 28.05.2013

http://www.mediafire.com/?tomb669uivmr7tt

..and it seems to be functioning just fine, but all the Ratings/Flags/Icons are in black and white as shown in the second set of (RELOADED) images. Tried the second link that's listed above the second set of images and I get the same black and white ratings/flags/etc.

the first set is the colored mod and the second the black&white.
please just make sure you overwrite all files when you copy the mod into the nox folder.

i updated the nox reloaded pack, i added the missing default icons and the ShadowTek dialogVideoInfo.xml file which is better than the old one, so an upgrade is highly recommended:

now i will check the colored edition for missing files, stay tuned....

Hello

my problem is that xbmc shows my media flags only when I played the movie for the first time.
I think thats not right.
What is wrong. I use xbmc 12.2 with aeon nox 4.0.9.
All movie files which are not played didn't show the mediainfo. I know from MediaPortal that it shows the infos anyhow played or not played movie.
somebody who know whats wrong on my xbmcHuh

Fixed it by myself.

I didn't checked the "extract Mediainfo from mediafiles" checkbox in the systemsettings.

I know it is strange, some files I try and download from there tell me the same thing and files Ive uploaded, others tell me they get that when I don't.. Thats why I stopped using them. The new Mega is pretty good though.

Dear Neurosis,

It's working now, finally, had to totally restart my buildup of Aeon Nox from scratch. Somehow something cached itself in the addon directory. It took me a full day to finally give up, and copy over a fresh copy.

Anyhow, now comes my real question:

I really love your work, and the only thing I miss I would love to try and implement myself. But struggling with this XBMC format (i never coded a letter in anything like this before)

My goal:

Under the languages, to add another icon if a subtitle SRT file is found in the folder.
The icon can be preset to one. (most users will only download one language anyhow)

This way, I can see within XBMC if a movie has subtitles and which not (yet).

Theoretically, it would 'only' mean, while showing the video info dialogs:

- test if file with same filename as movie but extension srt exists
- if so, add icon of xxx.jpg to languages (potentially even marking it by an overlay or outline so you know it's SRT)

I tried, but so far, i fail.
Any tips on how to do this?

The source code you can find at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0O2lN4b...sp=sharing

TO DO: Initialize my variable for in guisettings.xml (not sure how but i'm sure you do) (now you have to go to settings first to set the language)
TO DO: Translate for all other languages.
