Trouble playing videos recorded on mobile phone

Hi,

Im trying to play videos recorded on my mobile phone (htc desire). The first 1-2 seconds are usually fine but then audio skips and stops. Then video gets choppy hand stops. Sometimes video plays on but with no audio or corrupted audio.

Other movies and tv shows (sd/hd) play fine without troubles. The files are stored on the same file server.

debug log (wiki) needed of when it is playing back one of these files.

The same video file, from the same file server, running XBMC on my windows machine is working fine. Only having trouble playing from raspberry.

Does this have anything to do with licensing mpeg-2 codec ?

Does rpi have h.263 acceleration?

Things tried so far:
I bought the mpeg-2 license, Upgraded to 12.1, switched from SMB to NFS.
Still stuttering playback with this in the logs:
