Mounting ISO on NAS
#1
When playback a Iso-File from a Network-Source, the playback is stuttering.
When I mounted this Iso on my Networksource and playback the file-Struktur, it works fine.

So, my Idee is, to Mount the Iso on the Network-Source (NAS), bevor playback.

This test i make successfully:

- Create a nfs-share "DVD" on my NAS.
- I modified the "playercorefactory.xml", to start a bat-file, when select an Iso-File.
- The bat-file send a ssh-scribt to my nas and mounted the selected iso-file.
- The bat-file startet the mounted movie from the share "DVD" with VLC.

But this is the Point, i don't want. I want use the internal Player.
How i can configure, that - when an iso is selected, the internal Player startet with a fix path ?

thx for help

You don't need bat file to playback ISO using internal player.....
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

Just use NFS sharing on your NAS device and connect to it with Xbmc's browse NFS dialog.. .iso DVD images in general does not play quite well at the moment, but opens atleast.. Smile
