Hi everybody,

I have a PC Asrock Ion 330 with Windows 8 and XBMC (the shell is XBMC, no desktop).

I would like the sound to go out with the SPDIF connector (connected on amplifier) by default. if the amplifier is not power on, the sound out with the HDMI connector (for TV).
Or while at the same time, the sound out to the SPDIF and HDMI.

Is that possible?
because I can not find.

While something like this would be possible in Windows itself, I don't think XBMC supports it.

Is there a reason you wouldn't be using the AVR? If not, then maybe you could just use your AVR to send an analog or digital stereo output ("audio monitor") to your TV.

I think you have to be using a Linux build to do dual audio.
