(R.I.F) The EPG change only applies to LiveTV and you must be missing "I included a override under "Misc" settings that will let you run your own configurations....And Bob's your uncle!"
So nothing is lost!... so relax
BTW It cracks me up that low power htpc user complain about this kinda stuff... When it's Thanksgiving do you cook your turkey with a bic lighter? and complain when it's not cooked?
I did read what you wrote. I just like using applications among everything else how they were intended to be used. You want to disable these features because you don't want to deal with them in low power devices. I don't want to enable any of them if you, the person who wrote them, won't be supporting them for my device. It would only make my life complicated trying to do the impossible and make your life complicated because clearly you don't want to be bothered with them. I am only asking for you to reconsider disabling epg for low power devices. I highly doubt you will but it doesn't hurt to ask, right? But if you, when I have an epg question or complain I don't have to hear remarks like "that's exactly why it is disabled for your device by default". If you reconsider and leave it enabled that means you'll support it.
I am a vegetarian. Doesn't apply to me so no comment
You're missing the point... I'm not dropping "support" for those feature.
they will be disabled for low power systems and will include a override. Its not because i just feel like it. They require more resources then the low power system can provide....
You act like there is some magic code i could write... But just dont feel like it... Sounds foolish.

You want higher end features get equipment with w bit more power. You can manually override this option. The less time he has to respond to repetitive complaints and questions the more time he can devote to furthering development of this add-on.
Need to hire you as my P.R guy
