I'm trying to get a SSD install of OE working on a HTPC build.I'm using the OpenELEC Stable - Generic i386 Version:3.0.6

I know that the OE SSD install works fine because I can hook it up to my desktop and everything runs fine. When I hook it up to the HTPC (Intel D2550/GT610),it boots to the OE screen then goes black. I have read about the SSH method using Nano, but I can't find the Nano add on.
I need help guys. Thanks

Its a common problem with those cards, there's a few threads in the OE forums about it. You need to extract the edid of the TV. As for nano its now included in OE, no need to install the add on.

Ok. It looks like I need to SSH,but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. I can't see anything on the screen since there isn't any video and how do I SSH into it? By my network, etc? If I do it through the actual HTPC.I can't see anything.

Got into OE via SSH. One step closer.
