hi, in the latest nightly release i've had a lot of audio problem.
when i start xbmc the applicantion sounds are ok.
when i play the movie the sound is perfect (both AC3 and DTS pass through and are correctly decoded by the "ampli").
As soon as i stop the movie and go back to the main screen the application sounds are corrupted with active ae enabled or disabled.
with activeAE when i get the corruption i also hear a cracking noise every couple of seconds. i've tried to disable and enable stream silence when idle but nothing changed.
if i go back in a movie with ac3 or dts audio the playback is perfect
if i go back in a movie with a stereo track or i play an mp3 i only hear noise
if when i'm watching the "first" movie i go back to the main menu while still playing (using esc) and then i press stop on the remote i don't get the corruption.
i'm using this spec:
cpu : i5 3225 ( gpu HD4000)
LG 47LA640 connected to PC using HDMI
Logitech z960 connected to LG TV using optical cable.
this system worked correctly until a week ago.
